RV Tidbit

When the RV was in the shop way back in September I asked the dealer to check the slide stop bolts because it seemed the wall was the stop which didn’t seem right. The slide would actually go in a bit too far and you could see this when the slide was in, the trim would bow out a bit so I would be outside and ask the wife to put the slide in and I would tell her when to stop.

The dealer checked and found that there were no stops installed by the factory. Green with envy So they installed stop bolts and now the slide stops exactly where it should. Rolling on the floor laughing  One of the good things the dealership did and I thought I would mention it.

This was done on top of other work we had scheduled but it was very nice that they were able to fix it. :)

Always good when something unexpected and positive happens. I'm glad your RV is water tight and safe.

Merikay,

We no longer do business with this dealer, long story but some of it is posted in this blog. But it was nice when they got some of it right. :)

Erik, you've been riding one never ending train of misery as of late with yer motorhome, hopefully yer stop is coming up soon and you can get off.

The motorhome has been good, the problem is the place that worked on it didn't do most of the things properly. The PDI list my wife and I had should have cared for all of the problems save for the rock damage.

Unfortunately the dealer was inept on some of the items and I'm not one to hold back on vocalizing it when a company screws up over and over.

I haven't heard back from them regarding the warranty yet and I found where they say one thing on one document and something different on another document so this will likely get drawn out.

As for the motorhome itself, I think it's finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
