This was Tuesday morning. I don’t know if you can see it, but there is a fog bank in the distance that goes from left to right over the tracks. Click the picture and you’ll see it. I wanted to pull over and take a picture of the valley with the fog bank hovering, it was a very cool sight but there was no place to pull over.
On the diabetes side of things my numbers have gone way up again. It’s almost like I’m not taking any drugs at all, or something has happened in my body to make them ineffective, again. For the past month or so I’m back in the mid to high 200’s. For the 4 months prior I was in the mid 100’s so it’s back to the doctor next week for more fun tests.
I’m still paying for the last round of what’s wrong with Erik tests, it’s getting old and too damned expensive. Ya have to do it though so I’ll report back when the results are in, I know my Triglycerides will be high because I stopped taking Lipitor, but it will be interesting to see what other numbers are like as well.
Have a great Wednesday everybody.

It's interesting how your live traffic feed shows I'm from Crown Point, IN. That's where I was this summer, but I've been in Texas now for weeks. ??
Hubby is a diabetic too -- so far meds are maintaining his #s. Watching to see what you find out.
Keep n top of it. It may be expensive, and at times seems like it's useless to fight, but consider the alternatives!
I have know a few diabetics that didn't and had very tragic outcomes.
Best wishes!
The fog bank was neat Erik. It looked like a blanket falling to the ground!
I'm sorry about your numbers being high again. Are you watching your diet and all? Maybe this medication just isn't the right one. Sometimes it can take awhile before we really know. Anyway stay on top of it. It is very important! Love Di ♥
I'm not diabetic (yet) but my numbers were creaping up there. I tried "Eat to Live" diet and my numbers dropped to normal range. It's not easy to stick to, but has been proven to even reverse problems of those that are already diabetic. Some people can even stop meds.
Stay healthy.
Sorry to hear you are having issues with controlling your diabetes. How are your A1-c numbers? That gives a pretty good picture of the overall control. Don't give up, there are many medications for diabetes.
good luck with the tests, Erik!!!
I have been feeling crappy of late, but am loathe to go to the clinic. I know they will order a panel of diagnostic tests that I can ill afford. With no health insurance, life is a crap-shoot. Hope your numbers come down and things level out.
