Geneseo campground celebrated Halloween on Saturday 10/29, by about 3:00pm the birds had moved someplace else and we haven’t seen them since. We had a visit with a squirrel, I didn’t want to scare it away so I took a picture through the window. The picture on the left isn’t very clear because of the screen and glare but if you click on the picture you can see he’s looking right at me. Our graveyard before webbing.
The graveyard after The front of the rig
Haunted site # 3, our display got 1st prize!
Trick or treating, Loki see’s nothing fun in it, relaxing in the sun, much better!
The cutest lady bug you ever saw!
More pictures of trick or treaters…
Trick or treaters swapping candy, we bought too much so handed out a lot to each kid that came by. These boys came back for more and then started trading their candy, brought back memories of my childhood.
A family renting a cabin for the weekend decorated like a house, very cool!
Not many campers decorated but those that did, did a great job! This site got 1st place for a lighted display.
This was their sign in front of the site, how cool is that?
This site had some cool stuff and a fog machine.
The haunted Geneseo campground meeting room.
The Geneseo campground store decorated for the event.
We had a great time for our last outing! That’s it for now, have a great HALLOWEEN!!

It looks like you had a great time and so did the kids. That sure is a cool RV Park no wonder you keep going back, so would I.
Looks like everyone was having fun :).
Maybe its just my brain, but that office building makes it look like the Geneseo campground was at one time a KOA... :p
JoJo - The owners have made it a very comfortable place that it's worth the drive to go there.
Big Matt - Agreed, I'll have to ask them, I know prior to them owning it it was privately owned and not a KOA but prior to that I'm not sure but I'll ask.
You sure went all out. Betca all the kids (young and not so young) had a grand time.
what a great place to spend Halloween...very festive!!!
Looks like you had fun! My site decor winner and my costume winner were new campers with us. They had a whole crew of kids and grandkids and we hope to see them again. I had the bouncy house in anticipation of a huge multi generational family with a ton of kids and they were no-shows! We had fun anyway, though.I doubt anyone knows how much prep goes into these events!
How fun is that - the campground getting all involved in Halloween. You got some cute pictures of the little munchkins and it sure looked like everyone was having a good time.
Oh the bird video from yesterday was cool. What a swarm.
Wow, I disappear for a few weeks and here you are out having fun camping!!
I was wondering about you Erik, hoping you and your honey were outside having some fun while I was away. As it turned out, Jake and I have been having some fun outdoors too. Much needed!
I thought your decorating was great. I had no idea that they decorated at the campgrounds. Oh and I love your new background, I need to get me one soon!!! Love Di ♥
