Isn't everything $2,000 or > when you're having work done to an RV? Customer: "How come the bill is so high?" RV Service Center:"Didn't you ask us to check the oil?"

Erik, That is crazy!!. In our Fleetwood Flair I redid the bedroom in 2x2 squares from Lowes for less that $150. And they lasted for 2 years until we sold the RV. Now we did not do the Living Room area but keep looking...it has got to be cheaper... Hey, you need to come to the southwest - lots of competition and low prices...

OMG us right. Unless your talking about your entire house. I had my house done last year one end to the other and I didn't pay more than a $1000. That was 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the Kitchen area. Of course I didn't put carpet in the bathrooms or kitchen but new vinyl. And upgraded the padding

The $2,000 didn't cover the rear bedroom. I for one don't understand it but clearly I'll never take it to Collier for carpet replacement!

I put down berber in my house for $1,500 for the living room, dining room, and upstairs! I think I may try and tackle this myself.
