Canon T3i Camera

I got the chance to get a new Canon T3i DSLR camera. I decided on doing it because I can’t get fast pictures out of my cheap point and shoots and I take A LOT of pictures. None of them are ever ready when the action happens, my niece and nephews are too fast! The camera will also be coming with both the EF-S 18-55mm lens and the EF-S 55-250mm lens.

I’m a complete newb at DSLR cameras and lacking patients of any kind I’m fairly positive my wife will be entertained at new levels watching me try to do something other than turn the camera on then point it and take a picture. I’m also hoping to make good use of the cameras ability to create true 1080p HD video so I’ll need a tri-pod as well.

I’m going to have to work my butt for this but I think it will be worth it. The next pictures you see on this blog will hopefully be with this new fancy schmancy camera as we go camping next weekend at Paul Wolff.

UG!! I need a new camera and my husband wants me to get one of these fancy schmansy cameras. I just want a point and shoot just a little better one than I have!
I guess I just don't have the patience to learn all that stuff that comes along with it!
But I'm sure that you will know what to do with it and have fun Erik!!
Love Di ♥

I have been trying to figure out what to do for a few years now. My last point and shoot is a Samsung and it does an ok job but it always seems to be thinking when I need it to be taking a picture so I lose out and get the "after" what happened instead.

No matter how fast a point and shoot is they aren't fast enough. I've been speaking with people and each person who owns a DSLR claims they are ready to shoot, just hit the button and bam, either one or several pictures are taken.

Now I just have to figure out how to use it!
